Right now I am in the process to shoot some dry plates in 4x5. If you do not know what this is, these are glass plates covered with a photographic emulsion. Like photographic paper just on glass.

I bought some plates and a holder from a guy in Slovenia (see: lostlightphotography.com) but I also ordered some glass plates and emulsion to try my own ones.
The first plate I reverse developed to a positive went way too dark in the second exposure, so I will try some ambrotype positives as well as negatives for contact printing.
